Nik Color Efex was my first “plug-in” program. Now that the Nik Collection is owned by DxO, it keeps getting better! The Nik Collection 9, introduced in May 2026 has even more new features and filters! In version 8 they introduced the ability to utilize your Photoshop masks in Nik. I’ll demonstrate some of the new features as well as the various modules and how I incorporate them into my creative workflow.
